Bulk Editing Security Roles

To make bulk edits to multiple security roles, users can select the checkboxes next to the security roles they desire to edit. To edit all of the security roles at once, only select the checkbox next to the Security Roles header.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

1. Navigate to the Manage tab.

2. Locate the Application Management section.

3. Select the Security Roles tab.

4. Utilize the Search Role Name search bar to locate the desired security role(s) you wish to edit. In this example, we'll edit all of the security roles at once.

5. Select the checkbox next to the Security Roles header to auto-select all of the security roles.

6. Select the Bulk Edit button.

Note: The Bulk Edit button will include the number of security roles you have elected to edit.

 7. Locate the Selected Roles section and review the roles you've included in the bulk edit. If you have added a role by mistake you can deselect the role by clicking on the "x" icon next to each role.

8. Under the Application Permissions section, you can override the permission settings originally assigned to the role(s). When changing permission settings you have the option to select one of the following options:

  • Do not change - Selecting this option will retain the role(s) current permission settings.
  • Enable
  • Disable
  • Assign Role

9. Select the Enable option next to the Email Event Summary option.

10. Select the Continue button.

11. Confirm the bulk edit in the pop-up window by selecting the Save button.

Saving the changes will affect all users with the selected security roles immediately after finalizing the edits.
