Subscribe to Email Notifications
Email notifications for ControlCheck are tied to security roles established by your facility's ControlCheck administrator. Your account may have one or more notification subscriptions. It may also have no notifications enabled.
To review or update available subscriptions, select the User Account icon and select the Account Settings tab. In the notifications section, you will see the following notification toggles. You can activate or deactivate a notification by clicking its toggle.
All email notifications will come from the ControlCheck-notifications@bluesight.com email address.
Notification | Description |
Source File Uploads Not Received | This notification is triggered when one or more of your hospital's source files have failed to upload. |
Open Variances | This notification is sent to notify you of open variances created in ControlCheck as a daily or weekly digest. The email will also provide a breakdown of counts of open variances by department. This information will be for all time, meaning it will display a count of all open events in those departments. If a variance spans more than one department, then it will be counted in each department it is in, given that the user receiving the email has access to all of those departments. If there are no new variances in the last 24 hours and a user has their delivery frequency set to daily, then they will not receive the email. This email notification is available to all users and is independent of a security role or permission. See screenshot below |
Assigned to an Event Summary | This notification is sent to alert you of event summaries that have been assigned to you, shortly after they have been assigned. |
Updates to Case Portfolios | This notification is triggered when new updates have occurred on a case when you are the owner or collaborator. You may then choose to be alerted when new cases are created on a daily or weekly basis. If desired, select the Cases Created check box and select the delivery frequency and time from the scheduler box. |
Collaborator Update | This notification is sent to alert you when you have been added as a collaborator to a case. If you receive this notification, navigate to the Cases page to locate the case you've been added to. |
Progress Note Update | This notification is sent when new progress notes are updated for a case where you are the owner or collaborator. |
Sample Open Variances Email Notification
We have recently updated the email notification to include a count of the open variances that have occurred within the last 24 hours or the last week.
Daily Uploads Not Received Notification
This notification is triggered when the Bluesight team has not received a complete set of your expected source files of data for the prior day or if we received the source files, but they weren't successfully processed. No other failure or error will trigger this notification. For example, if you uploaded a partial file instead of a complete file it will not trigger an alert. Users can elect to turn on this notification themselves; however, for larger hospital systems you have the option to submit a support ticket and have our team activate the notification for multiple facilities. Should you have additional questions regarding file uploads please reach out to the IT representatives at your facility who are responsible for the transmission of data to Bluesight.
Notifications of Multi-facility ControlCheck Application Users
If you access multiple facilities within an IDN or hospital system, you will receive the appropriate notifications for each facility. Notification settings for each hospital are independent of any other hospital to which you are assigned. You can update your notification settings for a hospital when you are signed into it. Email notifications will always state the facility they cover both in the subject line and the body of the message, that way you'll always know which hospital a notification is referring to.
