Un-ignore a Medication

You can ignore a medication from the Medication Mapper. Ignored medications are displayed in the Formulary feature in the Ignored Medications list. In order to map a medication and add it back to your formulary, you must un-ignore it in the Formulary Manager.

Adding Form Factors

The workflow for un-ignoring medications is also used to enable suppositories and supplies as form factors for your hospital.

Managers Only!

You must have Manager-level permissions to un-ignore medications.

To un-ignore a medication or supply:

Click the Manage tab.
Select Formulary.
Click the Ignored Medications tab.
Search for the item you want to un-ignore.
Click Map. You will be redirected to the Medication Mapper.
In the Medication Mapper, proceed to map the medication as usual.
After you click Map Identifier or Map, you will be directed back to the Formulary screen.
