Updates & Fixes
- Fixed an issue with administration events for Intelligent Medical Selection (IMS) med doses that were inadvertently affected by a fix for infusion events in R131. This fix reverts the change in R131 for IMS med events and ensures that the correct administration amount is pulled into ControlCheck. For example, if a patient needs a 75mg dose of Pregabalin, but the hospital only stocks a 25mg and a 50mg capsule, then they will need to get both capsules to create the one dose of 75mg. This fix ensures that scenarios like this are properly pulling in the 75mg as the admin dose when a 25mg and a 50mg admin record are both seen in the EMR file.
- Fixed an issue with event quantity conversion in the Pharmacy Module for events that had a quantity of 1,000 units or higher. This fix ensures that quantity values that contain a comma are properly converted. For example, a quantity of 5,500 units loaded in the Narc Vault file will properly be converted to
5500
for event reconciliation and auditing. - Fixed an issue with the Labs → Overrides Report not displaying any data due to a bug introduced by changing a field in the query that grabs the override data.
Upcoming Features & Bug Fixes
Release 133 - Week of 11-15-22
- A new field strategy to handle a new issue with medication identifiers for customers who use Omnicell SinglePointe. The Omnicell software creates a new medication identifier (item_id in Omnicell) that is patient-specific and different every time. ControlCheck is pulling in the values from the item_id column of the Omnicell file for the medication identifier. In the next release, we will make available a new strategy for Omnicell adapters that can find these patient-mix identifiers and empower a Manager user to only have to map them once per drug.
- Bug fix to address an issue with the appearance of the text on the x-axis of the Med Trends scatterplot.
Release 134 - Week of 11-29-22
- Enhancements to Admin Tools for internal-use only, regarding data management.
