App-Wide Update on Saved/Bookmarked URLs
In this release, we are pushing live an upgrade to our back-end system, to Angular v8. With that upgrade, comes a change to how the backslashes /
are used in the URL. Prior to this release, all URLs throughout the app have had a /#/
contained in them. With this release, that format is changing slightly to no longer include the /#/
, as seen below.
Old URL format with the /#/ style: https://app.ControlCheck.com/#/login
New URL format: https://app.ControlCheck.com/login
What this means is: any existing bookmarked or saved URLs will no longer be valid URLs in ControlCheck. Please update any and all saved URLs if you wish to continue to leverage bookmarked URLs throughout the application.
Users who try to access the old-style URLs will be redirected to https://app.ControlCheck.com/login.
More Enhancements to Admin Tools → File Management ?
In the last release, we brought you a new and improved ControlCheck File Management page. In this release, we are pushing out two more types of data that can be cleared: Invoice data received from Drug Wholesalers over EDI and the All Mapped Locations file.
Updates & Fixes
- (Hotfix Release 132.1) Fixed an issue that was causing incorrect provider names on events. Approximately 35 hospitals use a ControlCheck hospital setting that allows our system to select from multiple provider identifiers such as name, role, and unique identifier to decide which provider to put on an event. In R132, we inadvertently released a bug that affected this logic and caused incorrect provider names to be associated to events. On Nov 9th, we released a fix to address this issue and corrected all affected events and files for the 35 hospitals.
- Fixed an issue with the auto med mapping logic that automatically maps NDCs that can be found in Medispan, so that Manager users don’t have to map them manually. This fix ensures that the decimal value in concentration amounts is correctly represented in the med name during the auto med mapping process. For example, NDC
60687-0626-65
represents a Buprenorphine-Naloxone oral tablet that has concentration amounts of 2 mg and 0.5 mg, respectively. The auto med mapper will ensure to properly reflect concentration values that have decimals in them, like 0.5 mg. - Fixed an issue with the label of the x-axis on the Med Trends scatterplot overlapping on the data in the graph.
- Created new adapter logic to better handle patient-specific meds created in Omnicell’s SinglePointe Patient Medication Management system. The Omnicell software creates a new medication identifier (item_id in Omnicell) that is patient-specific and different every time the drug is pulled. ControlCheck is pulling in the values from the item_id column of the Omnicell file for the medication identifier we use to create your ControlCheck formulary. This new adapter logic can identify these patient-mix identifiers and collapse them together so that a Manager user to only has to map them once per drug; instead of mapping or ignoring the meds in ControlCheck once per drug, per patient, per dose.
- We made a change in the previous release to use as much of the recent data as we have available to calculate the default IRIS values customers see in analytics. However, this resulted in the default scores changing during the day when customers are accessing their analytics, disrupting their workflow. In this release, we are reverting back to the longstanding practice where we include one fewer day of data in analytics, so that we can update the scores during off hours, which typically happens around midnight.
