Features
Count Corrections Heatmap View
We are excited to introduce a new heat-map view that expands on the existing Count Correction dashboard widget in Retail Pharmacy module! This feature provides end users with deeper, visual insights into count corrected medications across Retail Pharmacies and exploratory filters to segment the data.
Accessible from Retail Pharmacy Dashboard > Count Corrections > Corrections by Retail Pharmacy
- Non-interactive Heatmap showing the top 10 most count corrected medications (sorted high to low) across Retail Pharmacies (sorted A to Z).
- Filtering options to refine the view:
- Date Range – defaults to the last 30 days.
- Retail Pharmacy – multi-select from all available locations.
- Drug (Equivalent Level) – defaults to the top 10 most corrected medications, with the ability to explore others.
Updates
IRIS Metric Calculation Improvements
We've refined how Full Package Waste, Med Trends, and Variance Trend is calculated by separating procedural department data from care area data. This change ensures providers are evaluated more accurately based on the nature of their workflows, reducing the chance of highlighting providers whose routine activities in procedural areas were previously skewing results.
Report Parameter Improvements for Transactional Reports
We are improving the performance for Transactional Reports: Current Hospital by indicating the number of report filter selections, instead of the specific values.
- After selecting a generated report from the Report Inbox, the report parameters shows:
- Variance Category - show # of selections
- Departments - show # of selections
- Patient ID/Name - show # of selections
- Generic Meds/Equivalent Meds - show # of selections
- Providers - show # of selections
New Permission for moving IRIS Review to 'Reviewed' Status
We’ve added a new security role permission to provide more access control over who can close IRIS reviews on the IRIS Worklist.
To maintain current functionality, this permission is enabled to all security roles. Please update security role permissions accordingly.
- Accessible via Manage > Security Roles > Select existing Security Role or create New Security Role > Analytics Permissions
- New permission called Ability to move IRIS Review to Reviewed
- When permission is enabled, users with this security role can transition reviews to Reviewed status
- When permission is disabled, users with this security role can neither see nor transition reviews to Reviewed status
- Note: If a user has permission to "Open Case" but not this new "Close Reviews" permission, the review will still close automatically as “Diversion Suspected” when the case is opened. Please update security roles permissions accordingly.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an inconsistent count of reviews completed on IRIS Review Oversight and sum of the bars in the bar chart (Total Reviews Completed Monthly).
