How to Run Reports

You can use the Run Reports feature to search for data older than the previous rolling seven days or run a query based on parameters not included in the audit table filters.

To access the Transactional Reports feature:

  1. Select Report in the main navigation menu
  2.  Select the Transactional Reports from the Reports Dashboard
  3.  Utilize the search filters to set the parameters for your search.
  4. Select the View Summaries button to run the query.
  5. To clear your filter settings and run a new query, select the Reset All button.

Filters

Let's review the different filters available when running a medication intelligence report.

  • Start Date & End Date - triggers a calendar that allows you to select both a start and end date for your search
  • Departments - allows you to select one or multiple departments
  • Event Summary ID - allows you to enter in an Event Summary ID
  • Drugs - allows you to select one or multiple drugs
  • Users - allows you to select one or multiple users
  • User Roles - allows you to select one or multiple user roles
  • Patient ID/Name - allows you to type in either the patient ID or a patient name
  • Variance Category - allows you to select one or multiple variance categories
  • Status - allows you to select one or more statuses (e.g., Open, Closed-Bluesight, Closed-Reconciled, Closed-Unable to Reconciled, Open-Historical)
  • User Edited - allows you to filter based on event summaries that have or have not been edited by a user

Sort by Column

Once your report is generated you can sort the results by selecting the Sort icon. This icon will appear next to the column header that is currently being sorted. In the screenshot below, the icon is displayed next to the Date column.

To learn more about a specific event, select the blue Carrot icon next to the Notes icon to expand the entry. This action will reveal additional information regarding the event, and the provider, and may or may not include attached notes.

Download Your Report

Select the Download Raw Data button in the filter section to download up to two versions of your report as a ".xls" file. You have the option to download a Summary or Detailed Transaction Report.

  1. Summary Report - includes only the top-line event summary information as displayed in the report results table
  2. Detailed Transaction Report - includes all of the transaction-level detail available in the expanded view of an event summary
