FEATURES
Account Settings: Pharmacy Audit Added to Preferred Landing Page Options
This release features an update for ControlCheck Pharmacy module users. All ControlCheck users have the ability to select the page within the app they would like to land on when they first login to ControlCheck. We have added the Pharmacy Audit page to the list of available preferred landing pages for all Pharmacy module users. This option is helpful for Pharmacy staff who mainly do auditing in the Pharmacy module; selecting this option would empower a Pharmacy auditor to seamlessly begin their workflow in ControlCheck.
To update your profile settings, click on your nameplate at the top right corner and select Account Settings.
To update the preferred landing page to be the Pharmacy Audit page, select Pharmacy Audit from the menu and click Save at the bottom of the page.
Audit Page 2.0 Updates, New Page Coming Soon!
The ControlCheck team has some exciting updates to share on the new audit page. In this release, we have created new “Group By” and “Sort By” options for how to sort and view data on the audit page. Those gray boxes seen in the image below will soon be filled with “cards” that contain the event summary data. Check out the next release notes for a sneak peek!
Group By
The Group By option allows auditors to visually pair event summaries together on screen based off of a certain criteria: patient, drug, or user. For example, if the auditor wanted to view the event summary results by each individual patient, then they would select to group the results by Patient. Let’s say the auditor was interested in viewing all event summaries grouped by Drug; this would provide a clear view of the drugs with the most event summaries. Concerned about a particular user? The auditor can group the results by User and review all variances created by a particular user in the list.
Sort By
The Sort By option allows auditors to control the sort of the event summaries within a grouping based on a certain criteria: date, patient, drug, or department. For example, if the auditor selected to group results by User, then they could use the Sort By option to refine those results so that their display order makes sense and sort the results to display alphabetically A-Z based on patient’s name.

Upgrades & Fixes
- Updated back-end queries for the Med Trends to enhance page performance; further upgrades coming in the following release.
- Updated the Canceled Transactions report in Labs to use the new ‘canceled’ event type so that the report pulls the correct transactions from ADC files. Next release we will enable this report for all Labs users at all hospitals.
