FEATURES

IRIS Performance

After the last release, the ControlCheck team monitored the IRIS performance improvements and we were not satisfied with the results so on June 15th, we pushed out a hot-fix release to further address performance concerns. Since that hot-fix has gone out, we are excited to report significant improvements in page load times of the IRIS Dashboard and many other User Analytics pages. We hope these fixes have greatly improved the user experience in Analytics and empowers you to spend more time in this valuable part of the app. If you are still experiencing slow load times on the User Analytics pages, please reach out to our Help Desk help@ControlCheck.com

New Audit Page Sneak Peak: Date Range Filter

This release pushes out another addition to our new audit page: the Date Range filter. As one of the most used filters on the Run Report page, using the Date Range filter is an experience we sought to improve on the audit page and make it more similar to other date filters in the application. The existing date filter on the Review Audit page is dated and needed some TLC. This new filter style shown below, gets us one step closer to our upgraded audit page and we can't wait to share more exciting updates with you on this upgrade in upcoming releases!

Updated Support for Controlled Medication Patches

This release features updated functionality for the patch form factor. ControlCheck Managers can now map controlled patches to package sizes in any of the following units of measure: patch, mcg, or mg. This update was added to support scenarios where patch administration is documented in mass of controlled substance, rather than "1 unit" or "1 patch". For example, in the image below, a fentaNYL 50mcg/hr transdermal patch is documented as "50 mcg" administered on the electronic medical record, or EMR. In this example, this patch medication should be mapped in ControlCheck to a patch with a package size of "50 mcg" so that the ControlCheck system knows that each dose is 50 mcg when reconciling the administration with the dispense.

Upgrades & Fixes

  • Upgraded back-end system services to Rails 6.
  • Fixed an issue with sub-reason deep linking on the Med Trends report from the IRIS Dashboard.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing quarantined data files to be processed as regular data files.
  • Fixed an issue that was displaying unmapped providers as a dash instead of their name on the Pharmacy Audit table. The Pharmacy Audit table will display the user's name as seen on the event data from the narc vault file. Once the user is mapped, the table will display the name of the mapped user.
