Features
Manage Tab: Ability to Select-all Departments When Creating/Editing Security Roles
- One of the duties of the ControlCheck Manager user is to maintain the security permissions for all ControlCheck users at that hospital. We're excited to release an enhancement that will make Security Role management in ControlCheck a little bit easier. Some security role permissions grant access to all departments in a hospital; this allows a user with that access to see audit data for all of those departments. There are many different use cases for security role permissions and we hope this update makes the set up easier for our customers.
- Manager users can now use a select-all checkbox to quickly create a security role with access to all departments. If a security role needs all but a few departments added, use this feature to quickly deselect the departments you don't need to add to the permissions.
Upgrades & Fixes
- Added the in-app ControlCheck Knowledge Center to the Demo environment for enhanced training and education purposes.
- Added an enhancement to the workflow for the new Shift Analysis report that incorporates Time and Attendance data into User Analytics.
- Fixed an issue with the Date Range filter on the Audit page. The issue presented when a user would select a Custom Date Range, load results, then edit the Custom Range to another value; the new data was not being pulled in until the user did a hard refresh of the page. This issue has been addressed in the release. We have also added automated test coverage for this use case in our system to better help us identify issues like this should they arise again.
- Fixed an issue with the Medication Mapper that would produce an error when trying to map a med with thousands of events. Manager users that tried to map an Ignored Medication, or an Unmapped Medication with lots of events, would get a red error because the system crashed when trying to update all the events that have that medication on it. With this fix, the events will be queued up to be updated in a background job so that the medication can be successfully mapped.
- Fixed an issue with the Bulk-Edit workflow on the Audit page. The issue presented itself when a user would try to change the audit status of a group of event summaries from Open to Closed. The user would receive a red error from the system but the audits would successfully change status. This issue has been addressed in this release.
- Fixed an issue with data loading on the System Benchmarks reports when a user selected an End Date in the future. The system would freeze and no data would show up so this issue has been addressed. If a user enters an End Date in the future, the System Benchmarks will gracefully load data from the Start Date until today's date instead of freezing.
