Suppository Reconciliation is Live!

We are excited to launch the first of our new form factors: Suppositories!

A suppository (supp) is a form of medicine contained in a small piece of solid material, such as cocoa butter or glycerin, that melts at body temperature. A suppository is inserted into the rectum, vagina, or urethra and the medicine is absorbed into the bloodstream.

In ControlCheck, we have form factors that identify the type of form the medication is in when it enters a patient’s body. Some medication enters the body through the mouth; some through an IV tube hooked into a vein; some through a one-time injection into the arm. How the medicine enters the body is the dosage form that it takes one. Controlled suppositories pose a risk to hospitals and they want to leverage ControlCheck to have full visibility into the interaction with these suppository meds.

Upgrades & Fixes

  • Implemented ChurnZero for customer usage analytics.
  • Fixed an issue with Investigation Checklist Items that were removed from Investigations if the template item was deleted by a Manager from the Investigation Portfolios page under the Manage tab. With this fix, if an Investigation Checklist Item is used on an investigation, and that item is then deleted from the hospital's template, the item will remain in-tact on the investigation it first existed on.
  • Fixed an issue with the Admin Tools File Validation page.
  • Fixed an issue with the Detailed Transaction Report and Summary Report displaying some patients' DOBs in their patient name column.
  • Fixed an issue with universal adapters and respecting the Duplicate Events filter. If the Pharmacy module universal adapter had the Duplicate Events toggle disabled but the Patient Care module universal adapter had the filter enabled to allow duplicate events to appear in the system from the same file, the system was only respecting one of the settings of this filter and was creating unexpected behavior for hospitals expecting to see particular duplicate events from their Patient Care files.
