This metric can assist you in identifying drug diversion by tracking how a provider utilizes different drugs at different pain levels as compared with their peers. Typically, any pain-related metrics would decrease for a patient over time with regard to dosage amounts, frequency, pain scores, and moving from IV to oral admin. 

To visualize this data you can refer to the visual interpretation above to understand this data set and potentially create a Pain-Related Analysis report.

You can also utilize this metric to explore data in regards to the following events:

  1. Administration Volume Increases - you can tally the number of cases where unusual administration volume increases occurred and rank the providers. 
  2. Administration Frequency Increases - You can tally the number of cases where unusual administration frequency increases occurred and rank the providers.
  3. Form-Factor Switches - You can tally the number of cases where unusual form-factor switches occurred and rank the providers.
