Patient Centric View Panel
This release, ControlCheck introduces a comprehensive, patient-focused view of all medication events. This view, accessible from Patient Care Audit Table, provides a detailed panel that slides out from the right side of your screen, giving you instant access to a complete timeline of events for that patient.
Key benefits:
- Complete patient picture: View all recorded events for a patient in one place, including events not typically included in event summaries (cancelled transactions), within a full event timeline
- Identify care patterns: Quickly see how different providers document care for the same patient, making it easier to spot inconsistencies or unusual patterns
- Streamlined workflow: Access both Related Events and the Event Editor from a single, convenient location—no more navigating between multiple screens
- Better context for investigations: Review the complete story of a patient's medication journey when conducting audits or case reviews

Pain Related Analysis - IRIS Metric
Today, we introduce a new IRIS score for assessing behavior related to managing pain. Hospitals will need to Opt-into this new metric by request to a Bluesight Customer Success or Support representative. The new score, called Pain Related Analysis, carries a metric weight of 1x into the overall IRIS score and will have 3 sub-metric scores:
- Administration Volume Increases
- Tracks behavior risk related to increases of volume administered to a single patient during the course of their visit.
- Administration volume increases that sit in the top 5% of all dosage increases will be flagged by the Pain Related Analysis Metric.
- Administration Frequency Increases
- Tracks behavior risk related to increases of administration frequency to a single patient during the course of their visit.
- Administration frequency increases that sit in the top 1% of all dosage time increases will be flagged by the Pain Related Analysis Metric.
- Form-Factor Switches
- Tracks behavior risk related to form factor switches to a single patient during the course of their visit. In theory, patients should need less potent form factors to manage pain as their visit goes on.
- Any form factor switch that results in a more potent form factor administered will by flagged by the Pain Related Analysis Metric.
These 3 behaviors are derived from currently available data and analysis visualized in the Labs section of ControlCheck. It analyzes all controlled substances that are audited through the audit table.

Review providers by counts of events triggering the Pain Analysis sub-metrics.
