Observed Behavior Report UX/UI Updates
We’ve had some great feedback about the new ability to create reports around the observed behaviors of a provider being investigated. As of 04/22, we have had 15 reports created over 11 hospitals!
As we learn more about the usage of these reports from our customers and continue to discuss how these reports can help them collect qualitative evidence that helps support quantitative evidence such as linked transactions, we continue to discover ways to improve the workflow of creating a report. In this release, we have made the following improvements:
- The report now always shows the "Submitted by / Submitted on" section. This will always reflect the person creating the report and the date (which will always be the current date when creating the report).
- We are introducing a new checkbox selection: "Observer is a ControlCheck user". When this is selected, the "Observer" selection will still be the dropdown list of users in the application. When it is not selected, it will be a free input field. This allows for the submission of reports from someone who is not a user of the application.
- We have also introduced two new free input fields: "Observer Role" and "Observer Contact", allowing for more data collection around the details of the report.
- For a better user experience, we have separated the "Observed By" selection and the "Time and Place" selection. The functionality for "Time and Place" has not changed.
- Finally, we have added a disclaimer above the behavior selections to clarify the purpose of the report.
Exporting the Oversight Dashboard
Since releasing the Investigation Oversight Dashboard, we have received great feedback from customers. When we asked ~30 users "Do you think this dashboard is something you will review on a regular basis?" and "Will having access to this data improve the usability of the Investigation workflow in your hospital?", the vast majority answered yes!
With this release, this view can be exported! This allows users to share this historical data-driven view with individuals in their hospital who do not use the application and will allow them to visually communicate the progress and actions taken within the Investigation workflow within their hospital.
New Filter Design in Pharmacy Module Worklist
We have exciting enhancements and new additions coming to the Pharmacy Module, and to prepare the module for those additions we are making some improvements to the user experience, starting with updates to the filter functionality that aligns with other filter designs in the application.
Updates & Fixes
Updates
- Added “Diversion Suspected” as an Open reason for Investigations.
- When navigating to the Investigation Worklist, the worklist will filter to “Open” Investigation by default.
- Note that functionality that sets filters will override this default filter, such as the “closed in last 30 days” card in the application dashboard.
Fixes
- Action Times include ESIDs outside of the selected date range
