Upload Data to the Application

File Upload Process

ControlCheck currently supports three data delivery options for users:

  1. Manual File Uploads
  2. Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
  3. Direct HL7
Data Update
You might see differences in the data presented in some areas of ControlCheck. This is because data in the Audit Table and System Benchmarks updates in real time and data on the Dashboard updates once every 24 hours.

Manual File Uploads

You can upload files to ControlCheck by utilizing the Upload tab in the main navigation menu. This tab triggers a drop-down menu where you can elect to upload standard data files (via the Upload Files page), pharmacy files, or historical files. The Upload Pharmacy Files page allows you to upload data files to the pharmacy module (if enabled), on the other hand, the Upload Historical Files page allows you to upload older data sets

When uploading files manually you can drag and drop the files into the upload box or you can select the files from your device. Once the file has been uploaded successfully it will display at the bottom of the page in the Uploads section.

Note
ControlCheck accepts .csv and .xls exports from both eMAR and ADC systems; there is no limit to the number of files a customer might upload in one session.

Secure File Transfer Protocol

Daily (or weekly) report delivery can also be configured to transfer directly to the ControlCheck's secure server via a scheduled automated script. SFTP is configured in partnership with the facility’s IT team.

Direct HL7 Integration or 3rd Party Clinical API

Facilities can also opt for real-time delivery of all eMAR and ADC data directly to the ControlCheck's secure server via direct integration. Active data integrations are configured in partnership with the facility’s IT team.

Download Audit Files

Implementation activities will, on occasion, require the transfer of files from Bluesight to the facility. The Download Audit Files page allows the facility to download files or other materials that may contain PHI without having to use email or other non-secure data transmission methods. Please note the Dispense Check naming convention refers to the ControlCheck product.
