Upcoming Features & Bug Fixes (next release)
Release Talbutal - Week of 10-09-23
- When using multiple filters on the Audit table, you need to wait for the page to load after each filter selection. We want to make this better. We are adding an “apply” button on the Patient Care Audit Table. As you adjust filters, you’ll now need to click “Apply” for the new search to be run.
- Manager Users! Big news - we will move from Beta to GA on Manager users being able to split and re-map medications! Within your Formulary, you’ll be able to expand generic medications, see the medication identifiers mapped to that medication, and have the option to Unmap the med identifier so it can be mapped to a new medication. Hopefully this self-service tool provides faster resolution to any mapping issues! Check this idea off the list: https://community.bluesight.com/discussion/500/allow-a-specific-role-group-to-unmap-source-ids-alter-unit-conversion-tables-multipliers#latest
- We will move from Beta to GA on updating hospitals grouping settings from 48 hours to 12 hours. This means ControlCheck would only auto-close summaries that are less than 12 hours. Today, summaries can be auto-closed if the math adds up for events spanning 48 hours.
- We will be moving from Beta to GA on Variance Categories soon. Attend our webinar (https://kitcheck.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_Y4_zuM8YQI2LE-vXlOoJig#/registration) on October 18th to hear how we are addressing this idea: https://community.bluesight.com/discussion/463/another-status-type#latest. A couple minor updates being addressed that was provided throughout the beta:
- Adding Custom Category Description to Manage and Audit Table Workflows.
- Users can move event summaries from Closed Bluesight to a VC or the Open state.
- We will be moving from Beta to GA on Event Editor soon. Nearly 30-days from this idea being considered done! https://community.bluesight.com/discussion/522/allow-user-to-split-transactions-into-different-es-ids-transfer-to-another-department#latest. A couple minor updates being addressed that was provided throughout the beta:
- Updating the auto-generated Note left in the event summary to be more clear.
- Require a note when a user edits en event summary in EE.
- Adjusting the Move and Cancel Buttons on the EE page to be always visible.
- Another Community Idea being addressed! https://community.bluesight.com/discussion/632/investigation-notes-post-when-pressing-enter Speaking of Investigations…
- Launch of additional permissions for our Investigations functionality! Thanks to Brett for this idea posted here - https://community.bluesight.com/discussion/472/visibility-into-all-iris-investigations-for-pharmacy-users#latest. There will be five selections to choose from within Security Roles:
- No Access - This is the same as not selecting Investigation Access permission today in ControlCheck.
- Admin - A "Super User" that can see all Investigations in their Organization and make changes to those Investigations without any restrictions.
- Viewer - This is for a User that needs visibility into all of the Investigations in their Organization but does not want to be able to accidentally perform any functionality that would change the state of the Investigation.
- Owner - These Users can Open and Close Investigations they manage, and collaborate in other Investigations they are invited to. Their visibility into Investigations is limited to the ones they are involved in.
- Collaborator - These Users can collaborate in Investigations they are invited to but can't Close or Open Investigations. Their visibility into Investigations is limited to the ones they are involved in.
- When this rolls out, Users with the Full Access Security Role or Users with access to all Hospitals in the IDN will be given the Investigation Admin permission. All other Users who have Investigation Access already enabled will be given the Investigation Owner permission.
