IRIS Worklist General Availability
We are excited to upgrade customers from IRIS 2.0 to IRIS Worklist to create a more guided & streamlined workflow for completing IRIS reviews. Features included:
- IRIS User Card Layout - Effectively review IRIS users with more comprehensive data on user demographics, user activity, and review activity.
- Flagged IRIS Users - prioritize a list of flagged IRIS users for review.
- Review Statuses - proactively manage IRIS users throughout the review process and track review outcomes.
- IRIS Documentation - save notes/ upload attachments and tag reviewed IRIS metrics.
- Reviews & Investigations - effortlessly access all review activity of an IRIS user by accessing notes & outcomes for all IRIS reviews and investigations (if permissions allow)
- New Overrides IRIS Metric - highlight providers with unusually high override dispenses in the Detailed Risk Score Analysis for the Nursing care area.
Department List - CSV Export
- Ability to export the list of departments in the Manage section of the application
- CSV Output:
- Department Name
- Department ID
- Procedural/ Non-Procedural
- The locations in the department, including location ID (split with a | )
Updates & Fixes
- IRIS Metric Weighting Improvements. Currently, all IRIS metrics are currently weighed equally, but certain IRIS metrics are more indicative of diversion concerns and should have more weight when determining a user’s IRIS score.
IRIS metric weights will be increased for 3 metrics (Med Trends, Variance Trends, and Full Package Waste), which aim to decrease false positive IRIS reviews and highlight more anomalous IRIS users to improve identification of risky behaviors that are more suggestive of diversion concern. This will be applied to both Nursing and OR Care Areas.
- Account Management - Disable Row of Logged-In User. This update prevents a logged-in user from changing their own account permissions and security roles.
- Inconsistent date filter behavior (seen in Waste Networks). Fixed issue where the date filter on the Waste Network IRIS metric page is not respected after navigating to the metric page from the IRIS Detailed Side Panel.
- Convert Cancelled Transaction Times to the hospital settings time zone. Fixed an issue where the detailed transaction report for canceled events shows the event times in UTC, instead of the hospital’s time zone.

- IRIS Review Oversight Dashboard to provide visibility into IRIS reviews at a hospital. Specifically, this dashboard measures & visualizes:
- Reviews Opened
- Review Openers
- Total Reviews Opened Monthly
- Reviews Completed
- Review Outcomes
- Total Reviews Completed Monthly
- Avg Days to Complete a Review
- Avg Days to Complete a Review By Department
- Require note to any status change to an ES. This is an optional hospital setting that helps hospitals ensure users are compliant and doing a proper audit vs. just closing ES. This feature will require a user to enter a note before changing the status of an ES.
