IRIS Review Oversight Dashboard

This feature provides oversight on completed IRIS reviews for internal reporting to leadership and compliance. Screenshot generation is available. 

Access to Review Oversight Dashboard

• Access to this feature depends on the existing IRIS Dashboard Analytics permission for Nursing and OR. Data used to populate the charts is determined by the application user’s existing department permissions.
• The Review Oversight Dashboard is accessible from the landing dashboard and the IRIS Worklist.

Hospital Reporting on Opened & Closed Reviews (Nursing & OR)

• Monitor trends month over month
• View monthly totals and review outcomes
• Visualize average days to complete

Department Reporting on Open & Closed  Reviews (Nursing Only)

• Compare review activity by department
• Compare review durations by department

Review Completion by IRIS User Role & Application User (Nursing & OR)

• Understand application user engagement in the review process
• Identify which user roles have the most reviews completed

Updates & Fixes 

Variance Trends Weighting Improvement

Closed - Unable to Reconcile:These variances do not have an explainable reason for the medication loss. Because they are more suggestive of diversion concern, this update aims to improve Variance Trend metric calculation by increasing the weight of Closed - Unable to Reconcile variances.

The following updates will be updated in Nursing and OR:

• Closed - Unable to Reconciled variances will be weighed 2x more than Open and Open historical variances
• Closed - Reconciled variances will weigh half of their original weight.

Update navigation from Metric Description to Investigate Data page

This IRIS Worklist enhancement resolves data discrepancies by consistently displaying flagged transactions between the Detail Risk Score Analysis and Investigate Data page.

• This improvement will be applicable on the IRIS Worklist for the following metrics:
  • Variance trends
  • Full package waste
  • Dispense patterns
  • Canceled Transactions (existing behavior)
  • Overrides (existing behavior)
• Updates:
  • From the Detailed Risk Score Analysis, selecting the Metric Header directly navigates to all relevant transactions on the Investigate Data page
  • From the Detailed Risk Score Analysis, selecting the Bulleted Text under each metric navigates to those specific transactions on the  Investigate Data page

Please note additional UI improvements on the Investigate Data page will be addressed in the following release and data standardization for the following metrics is being considered:

• Action times
• Med Trends
• Waste Networks
• Shift timecards

Upcoming Features & Bug Fixes (next release)

Release 179 - Week of 08-26-24

• Investigate Data Page updates to clearly communicate presented data (e.g. sorted transactions) and improve product usability with additional page navigations (e.g. metric page navigation). Applicable for hospitals on the IRIS Worklist only.
