Overview
The Mapped Users dashboard displays a table of mapped users for your facility. You can utilize the search bar to search for users by name, user data number, or role. This dashboard also allows users with Manager-level permissions to edit and merge mapped users.

Downloading Mapped Users
Utilize the Download as CSV button in the top-right corner of the page to download a CSV file of the Mapped Users list. The downloaded file will include new fields such as the "Identifiers" and "Role" fields.
Merging Mapped Users
In the event that you find duplicate accounts or identify a mapping mistake, you can merge user accounts from this dashboard.
Example: Tatiana Pope is an RN at your facility who has recently gotten married. After returning from her honeymoon she alerted her manager that her new legal last name is "Duffy". During her absence her facility successfully implemented ControlCheck and an account utilizing her maiden last name "Pope" was created. During an audit of the Mapped Users dashboard her manager realizes that she neglected to delete Tatiana's old account.
Read the instructions below to learn how to merge Tatiana's old account with her new account.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Navigate to the Manage tab in the main navigation menu.
- Locate the Mappings section in the left-side menu.
- Select the Mapped Users link.
- Utilize the search bar to find the user "Tatianna Pope".
- Once located, select the Merge to button.
- In the search bar, type in "Tatianna Duffy".
- Once found, select the Select button to merge her Pope account with her Duffy account.
- Check the Reconcile Event Summaries checkbox
- Select the Merge button.
Once the accounts have merged the user account for "Tatianna Pope" will no longer exist and ControlCheck will associate all actions (and event summaries) with the new "Tatianna Duffy" account. Should you make a mistake and attempt to merge the wrong account you have the option to select the Switch Users button prior to finalizing the merge.
