Related Events Beta is Coming Soon!

The entire ControlCheck team is extremely excited to announce that the Related Events feature is almost ready for prime time.

ControlCheck has an auto-close rate of 93% on average across the customer base. The resulting 7% ends up on the Audit page for users to review. However many of that 7% are likely considered “false variances” by the user, resulting in a frustrating experience and lack of trust in the system. Users don’t have a way of rectifying these “false variances” leading to further frustration when reviewing IRIS/user analytics.

With our new audit table card design, identifying other event summaries that could’ve closed out another summary is more difficult to do because of the size of the cards on the screen. This makes it increasingly difficult and slows users down when reviewing variances. To enhance the overall auditing experience, we have been working on a set of features that allows users to easily review similar events, categorize variances, and even edit the event summary grouping. The first feature in this set that we are ready to take live is the Related Events feature and we hope you are excited to see what we’ve been working on! Here’s a quick peak below.

The new Related Events feature in ControlCheck allows auditors to see other events that are related to the event summary they are reviewing for a patient. These events could include events that occurred around the same time for the patient and likely will highlight events by the same provider or the same medication. By providing a more comprehensive view of the patient's activity, auditors will be able to more easily identify and rectify any discrepancies or false variances, leading to a more accurate and trustworthy system.

Related Events exists as a feature on an Event Summary. If a user can see an Event Summary, they can see Related Events for that summary. This includes if that patient navigates to other departments and units of the hospital, thereby giving the auditor access to all activity, within the associated time, across the hospital for that patient.

? Over the next few weeks, a few beta customers will launch the Related Events feature, and in an upcoming release, we will launch the feature to all hospitals. Reach out to product-bcs@bluesight.comfor more info.
