Improved IRIS Analytics - Canceled Transactions General Release!

 We are excited to launch a new Canceled Transactions metric to 618 hospitals on Omnicell & Pyxis! Shoutout to the 14 Beta Hospital sites for working with us and our incredible teams for collaborating to hit this milestone 

The primary value of this new metric is to incorporate null/ canceled transactions for controlled (audited) medications into IRIS scoring, offering a more comprehensive view of cancelation behavior and potential diversion activity.

• Specific features available in IRIS 1.0 & IRIS 2.0 for Nursing and OR care areas
  • The Canceled Transactions metric score is displayed in a user’s Detailed Risk Score Analysis and incorporated into the overall IRIS score.
  • Metric description summarizing a user’s:
    • total canceled transactions
    • total cancels by top 3 departments
    • most canceled medications
  • View all canceled transactions in one or all departments
  • CSV Export of canceled transaction events
• Feature Enablement:
  • To enable metrics for a hospital, the Canceled Transaction Metric hospital setting will be automatically turned on for all hospitals on Omnicell & Pyxis sending canceled data
  • To enable metric visibility for end-users, we will automatically turn on for users with current Analytics Permissions in “Security Roles” that are the same as the IRIS metric hospital settings.
    • To enable the feature for other Security Roles, navigate to the "Analytics Permissions" section to select "Canceled Transactions" and save.
